The commonest way counselling ends is that somebody stops answering. It is understandable and it costs people something, because an ending that is not marked tends to leave the work half-finished in the memory.
So when you say you are ready to stop, we ask for three more: one to decide it properly, one to go back over what changed, and one to say goodbye. You can refuse and we will not argue.
The door is not locked behind you. Plenty of people come back for four sessions two years later, and they do not start again from the beginning.
