By the time most people ring, the attacks themselves are less of a problem than the watching for them. The work is usually shorter than people fear.
If you have not had a heart checked and you are over forty, we will ask you to do that first. Not because we think it is your heart, but because you will not be able to stop wondering until somebody has looked.

Where two names are here, either can take it. The call decides on the wait and on who sounds right to you rather than on a rota.

After a death, including the ones nobody around you counts as a big loss.

10–18sessions is usual
Together or on your own. We do not have a preferred ending.

6–12sessions is usual
Including when it is only at weekends and nobody has said anything.

10–16sessions is usual
The eleven o'clock emails, the Sunday dread, the thing you have become at work.

Assault, an accident, or a childhood you have never described to anyone.
